Prayer and Fasting Campaign to Begin NOW….
Dear Family and Friends,
Your help is needed, immediately. Please take a moment to read this, and view the attached video link. Please pray for these needs and pass this on to all your brothers and sisters!
THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT (FOCA) is proposed by President-elect Barack Obama, who has promoted passage and has promissed to sign it if it comes before him. For those of you who do not know, the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) is scheduled to be signed if Congress passes it on January 21-22 of 2009. If made a law, all limitations on abortion will be lifted which will result in the following:
The implications go far beyond the abortion issue and affect everyone! Under FOCA:
All hospitals will be required to perform abortions upon request. That would include Catholic hospitals (and many non-Catholic hospitals, too) which cannot comply under any circumstances.
If this happens, it will force Bishops to close down all Catholic hospitals, as they have solemnly vowed they must, and with deep regret.
It would result in the immediate closure of over 30% of all the hospitals in the United States...
some of the very finest hospitals and emergency centers that serve some of the largest communities in the country, with some of the best and most dedicated staff. Many have renowned accomplishments in treating of cancer, lung and heart diseases, and are often the finest teaching facilities in the world, with the most beds. Doctors, nurses, staff, and pharmacists who oppose abortion would be forced to choose between compliance with law, or--as many will be forced to do--abandon their careers.
Countless promising young people into the future will simply be forced to abandon futures in medicine and choose other professions because of their choice to protect and respect unborn lives.
That scenario would create a terrible vacuum in the medical field, leaving what's left for the rest of us when we, or a loved one, is in their hospital beds... in the hands of the people who don't value the life of a baby.
All U.S. tax payers would be forced to fund abortions with their tax Dollars.
Parental notification will no longer be required in any state. It is projected that the number of abortions will increase by a 100,000 or more annually. Perhaps most importantly the government will now have control in the issue of abortion.
Needless to say this information is disturbing, but sadly true. As anyone who is against the needless killing of innocent children, we must stand as one. We must stop this horrific act before it becomes a law.
Please call your legislators in Washington where ever you live and TELL THEM NOT TO VOTE FOR THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT!! We can stop this murder and get back to CHRISTIAN principles in this country if we become a unified voice for life, and if we pray together as a nation.

The Plan: Nine days of prayer, accompanied with fasting for two of the days,
I encourage you to pray your strongest prayers with intentions to stop the FOCA for nine consecutive days.
The hope is that this will branch and blossom as to become a global effort with maximum impact.
We have very little time so we all must act fast. Please pass this letter to 5 or more people to start the prayer for nine consecutive days.
Please, and only if you are physically fit, also fast for at least two days during the prayer. Fasting can also be the denial of an activity you enjoy and normally engage in.God is eternal, and sees your prayers whenever you begin, so if you get this after the 11th, begin your own nine days of prayer, with the intention of praying with everyone else. The most important thing is to pray. Remember that with God all things are possible and the power of prayer is undeniable.
