Procession in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption by American, Mexican and Vietnamese religious traditions in Claremont
The Solemnnity of Our Lady of the Assumption, patron saint and feast day of OLA Parish in Claremont, is celerated with a procession in honor of Our Blessed Mary. The statues of Our Lady of the Assumption, Our Lady of La Vang and Our Lady of Guadaluppe were decorated with beutifull flowers and carried by the respestively by Americans, Maxicans and Vietnamese people. These are symbols of our rich and diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, but united in worship and fellowship. Parish groups, organizations and individual are invited to carry banners and images of mary. Tri-lingual Vigil Mass and songs followed the procession.
